Rosamaria Riccobono “AKA Coach Rosa” is the owner and founder of Altitude Lacrosse, LLC.

Coach Rosa began her lacrosse career at Saint Francis Preparatory School where she was a three-year varsity starter, two-time captain, and the inaugural recipient of the Terrier Award for her distinguished leadership and commitment to the program. 

She went on to play collegiate lacrosse at her alma mater Eastern Connecticut State University where she earned her B.S. in Sport & Leisure Management. During her time at Eastern she was a member of the NCAA Division III National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Upon graduation, she quickly entered the coaching profession. Throughout her career, she’s seen firsthand that with the right support, success will follow.

This inspired her to launch Altitude Lacrosse in 2023 with a clear vision to create a positive environment for female lacrosse players. As an experienced player and coach, she deeply understands how a caring approach can leave a lasting impact on a player’s life, giving them confidence to show up strong for their teammates and themselves.
